Evolving out of the Shades of Blond, the 49th Parallel was one of the best garage punk bands to come out of Canada.  While they have these fuzz laden gems (Labourer, Citizen Freak, The People, You Do Things etc.) they also recorded a number of slower tunes including the Byrdish She Says, and the Delaney Bramlett penned Blue Bonnie Blue (about Bonnie Bramlett).
